At Waverley Academy we want our children to have high aspirations for adult life and embed career learning into the curriculum, developing strong links with business and professionals. We integrate these into our yearly whole school assembly schedule.
Transition into Secondary School
Its really important to us, that our children feel confident in making that important step into secondary education. We work closely alongside our feeder schools, to provide a programme of transition, which includes;
- Visits to the Secondary School
- Taster sessions
- Teachers visiting the school
- Online Virtual School
For those children who need more support in making the transition, a bespoke package of pastoral support is put in place.
